Primarily a fiber artist, I experimented with fusing oxidation processes (in painting) with textile art. The pressed physalis blossom fragments were found in my garden. The blatant contrast between the bright orange of the background and the turquoise "patina puddles" is intentional and follows the coloring decomposition of the original plant.
The piece is ready to hang (comes with small hook glued on back) or to be put in a shadow frame (not included).
